Volfoni, the leading European provider of 3D technology, announced that technology industry veteran Allen Schoonmaker has joined the Company in the newly created role of Chief Marketing Officer. An accomplished marketing executive, Mr. Schoonmaker has successfully defined and implemented marketing and branding strategies for both private and public companies. The appointment of Mr. Schoonmaker is the latest step in the Company’s effort to strengthen its leadership team as it capitalizes on the growing demand for high performance and high efficiency 3D cinema systems. Mr. Schoonmaker joins a seasoned leadership team at Volfoni with many years of experience in the cinema industry.

Previously, Mr. Schoonmaker served as Head of Marketing for SpeedCast Limited, where he drove the transformation of SpeedCast from a small regional player into a leading brand within the satellite services industry. He also helped to guide the company from a privatization through to an initial public offering on the ASX stock exchange.
In his position as Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Schoonmaker will be responsible for all global marketing activities including marketing strategy, branding, messaging, advertising, public relations, vertical marketing, analyst relations, alliance marketing and marketing communications.
